DREAMRUPT

Recovered fragments from unstable minds

Dream log 46771 - the ascent

I was barefoot.
Climbing a staircase made of mirrors.
But each step reflected something I’d forgotten.
A birthday party with no faces.
A promise I don’t remember breaking.
A place I’ve never been — but missed.
The sky above was black. Not dark — empty.
And still, I climbed.
Around me, clocks floated.
They weren’t ticking. They were melting.
Like time wasn’t allowed up there.
Trees hung upside down, growing from nothing.
Their roots reached toward me like questions.
At the top of the stairs…
I didn’t find a door. Just a feeling.
I don’t know what it meant.
But I remember the silence.
It felt like forgiveness.

DREAM LOG 81192 — The One Who Grew

It wasn't a person.
But it used to be.
Roots tangled where veins should be.
Moss spread across shoulders like memory.
Leaves pushed out from where the eyes once were —
like something inside had finally started growing out.
It stood still. But the air pulsed around it,
thick with glowing spores and silence.
The greenhouse was rotting — glass broken,
vines blooming like secrets too long buried.
When it turned toward me, I felt something ancient
begin to bloom behind my ribs.
This wasn’t death.
This was becoming.

DREAM LOG 11876 — shipwrekt

It shouldn’t have been there. But it was.A perfect green pool in the middle of the red.
Mars was quiet, like it had been waiting.
The boat—my boat—was already floating when I arrived. Engine off. No footprints. No sound.
I didn’t question it. I just stepped on.Around me, the desert pulsed with breath.
Alien plants shimmered like they were remembering something.
Creatures circled above — some had wings, others had eyes that weren’t theirs. They watched, but not like predators. More like... witnesses.
In the sky, Earth blinked like a distant mistake.I stayed until the water warmed.
I don’t know what I was waiting for.
But I still feel it watching.
